A week of yoga in the heart of the magical Andalucian hills of Spain
Saturday 5th – Saturday 12th July 2014 (7 nights)
With Dory Walker & Rachel Arkle

About Suryalila
Suryalila, originally an olive hacienda, is a fabulous new retreat centre located in the heart of the Andalucian hills close to the charming villages of Arcos de la Frontera and Prado del Ray. It is less than an hour’s drive away from the historic and beautiful walled city of Cadiz, the very best unspolit beaches in Spain and the vibrant city of Seville. On the edge of a mountainous national park, the property sits in a large river valley overlooking rolling hills and in the far distance, the white village of Bornos, situated by the side of a large lake.

The daily programme
Each day will start with early morning meditation. Later in the morning there will be a 2 hour asana class and an evening yoga class at around 5pm. The yoga classes aim to be suitable for all levels and experience.

Throughout the day you will be offered three delicious vegetarian meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Suryalila kitchen specialises in gourmet international vegetarian cuisine, using the freshest seasonal, locally-sourced organic fruits and vegetables available, artfully prepared in a varied and truly eclectic international menu.

Between yoga classes there will be the chance to explore the beautiful natural surroundings or simply relax by the swimming pool with views of the surrounding hills or in a hammock in the shade of the olive grove. During the week there will be one yoga free day.

Ideally arrival will be on the afternoon of 5th July but if your flight is earlier in the day you are welcome to head to Suryalila and use the facilities but your room may not be ready and lunch will be at an extra cost. Arrival later on the 5th is of course fine too. For your departure, this will be on the morning of 12th July after breakfast. However, if it is later in the day you are welcome to stay on at Suryalila but you will need to vacate your room and again further meals will be an additional cost.
