Pregnancy Yoga in Willesden Green

Monday 18:00 – 19:00

Yoga is one of the best forms of exercise during pregnancy. It’s a gentle, safe way to keep your body and mind strong and supple, and to prepare yourself for childbirth and motherhood. The aim of this course is to create a community: To provide a safe environment for women to feel open, supported and empowered. To facilitate a space where they can connect and talk about what is on their minds, the practicalities of birth, how they feel, their fears, worries and hopes. Classes begin with breathing (pranayama), we then move through a flowing sequence of postures (asana) modified to suit a pregnant body and, finally, we spend some time in relaxation / savasana. Suitable for women in their second and third trimester (past 12 weeks).

Classes are run as a course of 6 – £85 for the first course, £80 when re-booking.

All courses are suitable for complete beginners, as well as for those with more experience with yoga who wish to revisit the basics and develop their own individual practice. Classes are small so that everyone receives individual attention.

I teach Hatha Yoga that combines flowing movement with focus on healthy alignment. I listen and observe, making sure my classes are safe and fun, and that they fit in with my students’ needs. The aim of the practice is to bring both the body and mind to a place of balance, a natural state of freedom and ease.

I have trained to teach yoga with Bridget Woods Kramer in the Anusara Yoga style, Pregnancy Yoga with Nadia Narain at Triyoga and I have studied Pranayama with Yogacharya Ananda Leone. I teach group classes as well as private one-to-one sessions.
