MUM & BABY POSTNATAL YOGA
Thursday 10:30 – 11:30am @ the Chaim Centre, Willesden Green
A natural progression to Pregnancy Yoga, the aim of this intimate class (max 6 mothers) is to promote relaxation and wellbeing for mothers and babies (6 weeks to advanced crawling). The central focus is on postpartum recovery through breathing (pranayama), movement (asana) and relaxation. Classes are designed to release stress and tension and to cultivate strength, flexibility and balance on a both mental and physical level, and to support women through the joys and demands of motherhood. The course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to fairly experienced intermediate students.
Classes are run as a course of 6 – £85 for the first course, £80 when re-booking.
All courses are suitable for complete beginners, as well as for those with more experience with yoga who wish to revisit the basics and develop their own individual practice. Classes are small so that everyone receives individual attention.
ABOUT ADELA
I teach Hatha Yoga that combines flowing movement with focus on healthy alignment. I listen and observe, making sure my classes are safe and fun, and that they fit in with my students’ needs. The aim of the practice is to bring both the body and mind to a place of balance, a natural state of freedom and ease.
I have trained to teach yoga with Bridget Woods Kramer in the Anusara Yoga style, Pregnancy Yoga with Nadia Narain at Triyoga and I have studied Pranayama with Yogacharya Ananda Leone. I teach group classes as well as private one-to-one sessions.
