Hatha Yoga in Willesden Green

Monday 19:10 – 20:10

Monday 20:20 – 21:20

Thursday 18:50 – 19:50am

@ the Chaim Centre, Willesden Green

Long day at work? These courses are designed to revive a tired body and mind after a long day: release tension in the shoulders, stretch the legs, strengthen the core, create more space to breathe, relax and clear the head.

Hatha yoga is a combination of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and relaxation. Each session will consist of breathing and warm up exercises, followed by a sequence of postures that synchronise the movements of the body with the breath, and finally a short relaxation to allow for the session to take effect. As you progress in your practice, you will develop strength, flexibility and awareness of your own body. You will also learn a variety of techniques that you will be able to apply both in your practice and in your day to day life.

Classes are run as a course of 6 – £85 for the first course, £80 when re-booking.

All courses are suitable for complete beginners, as well as for those with more experience with yoga who wish to revisit the basics and develop their own individual practice. Classes are small so that everyone receives individual attention.

I teach Hatha Yoga that combines flowing movement with focus on healthy alignment. I listen and observe, making sure my classes are safe and fun, and that they fit in with my students’ needs. The aim of the practice is to bring both the body and mind to a place of balance, a natural state of freedom and ease.

I have trained to teach yoga with Bridget Woods Kramer in the Anusara Yoga style, Pregnancy Yoga with Nadia Narain at Triyoga and I have studied Pranayama with Yogacharya Ananda Leone. I teach group classes as well as private one-to-one sessions.
