Cyclic Meditation

Cyclic meditation (CM) is a technique derived from a traditional Indian text, the Mandukya  Upanishad.  It is a ‘moving meditation’ that combines yoga postures with supine rest. The technique comprises alternate cycles of asanas followed by guided relaxations. This process of meditation is unusual in that it is interspersed with postures.  A regular practice of 30-40 minutes creates deep relaxation and is particularly helpful for self stress management.  This workshop will teach the principles and practice of Cyclic Meditation and is an introduction to a meditation technique that is easy to learn and very effective in reducing stress.
