Jo Tison will be leading vinyasa yoga classes, exploring the energetic nature of the chakras through asana and pranayama, meditation and visualisation. Sharkles Wallace will be teaching dynamic meditation, creative meditation and Chakra dancing.

Jo will be leading vinyasa yoga classes, including yoga nidra and meditation, and Sharkles will be leading Chakra Dancing and meditations.’

Yoga as we know it is the West (the asanas) are a series of postures, or asanas that are designed to create awareness to the body, stillness to the mind, to purify the body in perpartion for meditation. Yoga means union, a union with the mind, spirit and body and also with the breath.

Vinyasa Flow is a series of postures (asanas) that move with the breath (prana) to produce a “flow” from one posture to the next, stretching out the body whilst quieting the mind. Classes encourage balance, flexibility, strength, relaxation and mental clarity. This is a mixed-ability class where beginners are welcome.

Chakra Dancing is free form, spontaneous dance. A workout for the mind, body and soul led by a trained chakra dancing teacher to music composed especially for the purpose.

A dance of self discovery and healing which allows you to connect to your inner self, your emotions and your body. Chakra dancing is a great way to release and let go of any unexpressed emotions or blocked energy but best of all to have fun whilst doing so!

Stimulating the natural flow of energy, or chi, through the chakras, the dance leads to physical and mental well-being. Using an eclectic mix of global influences from tribal dancing to Tai Chi, yoga and slow motion body work it gently guides you through the chakras, leaving the body re-energised and in perfect balance.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage (sometimes called Thai Massage or Traditional Thai Massage) is a unique and ancient healing method used in India at the time of Buddha, over 2500 years ago. It was then brought over to Thailand along with Buddhism.
Thai Yoga Massage is a mixture of Energy Healing, Yoga, Acupressure, Meditation, Ayurveda and Chiropractic and has been nicknamed “Lazy Yoga” due to some stretches that are used and the spiritual benefits, healing at a deep level. It works by releasing energy blockages and physically stretching the body restoring health.
Thai Yoga Massages are floor based on a futon or mat with the client fully clothed in comfortable, lose fitting clothes. I work with my own body and body weight in a rhythmic, meditative state throughout the treatment, working energy lines and using fingers, thumps, palms, elbows, feet and knees to offer a deep healing, relaxing massage to balance and restore health.

Holistic massage

Holistic massage in particular is capable of creating a significant improvement in your whole body because of its all encompassing approach. This type of massage treats the body as a “whole” and benefits the mind, body and spirit. It can relax tense muscles, release toxins, reduce physical and emotional stress, improve quality of sleep, improve circulation and slow the mind down and lift your spirits amongst many other benefits.

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is the Japanese word for the Universal Life Force, the energy that permeates and sustains our entire world. It is actually two words, “Rei” meaning Universal Life Force, and “Ki”, meaning energy. There is an infinite source of this energy, creating and supporting all of us and everything in this universe!

Reiki is a fully clothed, non-touch treatment where universal energy is transmitted to the client using my hands. All practitioner work slightly different but I tend to use the main 9 Chakras (spinning vortexes of energy within us) and endocrines in the body and focus on those points to send energy to restore any unbalances. Balancing the Chakras aids and can heal every aspect of one’s life, on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. Even without any obviously current issues everyone can benefit from Reiki energy healing as the more balanced we are the more energy will have and the better we feel.
