Painting
There is nowhere more memorable to paint than India. As Mark Twain wrote it is “the one land that all men desire to see, and having seen once, by even a glimpse, would not give that glimpse for the shows of all the rest of the world combined.”
Fishing
Basunti offers a fantastic opportunity to fish for the legendary Golden Mahseer in a beautiful lake (which is part of the Maharana Pratap Sagar nature reserve), surrounded by spectacular nature and snowmelt rivers in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Accommodation
Accommodation at Basunti combines the best of modern Indian design with European plumbing. With day time temperatures usually in the high 70s and above for 10 months of the year, Basunti’s accommodation is built for outdoor living with large, wide thatched verandahs on three sides.
