Yoga provides an effective & holistic approach to pregnancy. With its system of gentle movement and stretches, relaxation and breathing practices it works on both body and mind to promote health and well being. It can help support you throughout pregnancy and help prepare for labour and childbirth. Many women enjoy the support and company of other Mums-to-be in the antenatal yoga classes, as well as the specific exercises to tone muscles, alleviate aches and pains commonly found during pregnancy, and above all to encourage a sense of relaxation and wellbeing. The classes aim to keep you healthy and happy through the whole pregnancy and to prepare for the birth of your child. There is no need for you to have practised yoga previously to attend these ante-natal lasses.
